I have been researching and writing about the telecom and semiconductor industries for over 16 years. 

I was a contributing editor for FibreSystems Europe between 2005 and 2009. Between 2006 and 2009 I was also an analyst for optical transceiver market research firm LightCounting, while from 2001 to 2005 I was a senior analyst at RHK Inc. (now Ovum) covering optical components and communications semiconductors.

I also write the monthly technology trends articles for the London-based magazine, Total Telecom, and semiconductor articles for the electronics design magazine, New Electronics.
